Ministry Philosophy
God commanded His people to go into all the world and make disciples (Matt. 28:19). Seventy-five percent of teens play video games and we want to meet them where they are and help them take their next steps with Jesus.
Our training goes beyond the classroom to real-life situations to help students reach the next generation with the gospel in innovative ways.
Share Your Faith. In direct obedience to Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19), Stream Team students are trained to share the Gospel online during gaming events. They are given the opportunity to share their faith in relevant and meaningful ways.
Grow in Your Gifts. Students develop abilities to communicate the gospel, share their testimony, and discipleship devotionals to impact the next generation of youth. Students and staff are also involved in moderating and guiding social media servers and chats to disciple teens in their walk with God.
First-Hand Experience. Students can say, “I’ve done that!” to a variety of ministry opportunities. Sharing their faith, encouraging youth to take their next steps with Jesus, and being on the front line of digital discipleship all provide exciting, cutting-edge ministry opportunities in todays online world. These experiences are invaluable building blocks which will bless their home churches and future ministries!

At Word of Life, we firmly believe God desires everyone to be active in world missions. We are seeking to do our part by taking the gospel and discipleship principles to the online world where so many teens spend so much time.
